There are many things I love about teaching people to sail.  One of my favorite things is when they come back from their first sail out by themselves and their smiles are huge!  Some recent graduates went out and the wind started picking up. “We remembered to Heave-To and put a reef in the sail!” they said excitedly.  The sailing was great and the Blue Angels where flying.  It was wonderful to see the pride and confidence they gained by sailing on their own.  That is just the beginning of their sailing adventures.  I look forward to helping them continue building their confidence, their skills, and their memories!
